The brochure Ručné spracovanie vlny (Handprocessing wool) , is a manual of processing wool from raw fleece through sorting, washing, carding/combing, bit of plantdyeing, to spinning on both drop spindle and a spinning wheel and finishing your handspun yarn. It was published in 2019 through slovak institusion ÚĽUV (Folk Arts and Crafts Centre) and is, unfortunately for our customers from abroad, in Slovak only . With a drop spindle of our local craft production and a combed top of Slovakia bred Texel sheep, it is possible to follow instructions and try spinning on your own :-) The brochure has 92 pages with easy-to-follow instructions and pictures.
