This sweater pattern comes from czech knitwear designer Klara Pushin - @klarapushinknitweardesign. Do you remember making macrame bracelets? There is a similar, yet much older textile technique - weaving tapes on a small heddle. It is a very simple tool, which will help you make durable thin woven tapes, useful everywhere, where you need strong strings, belts, laces. It is also a wonderful tool for introducing children to weaving.

Sometimes, while dyeing, mystical things between heaven and earth happen and the colours behave different than they are supposed to...or sometimes we recycle dyelots from mystery clubs or we just have the right mood for limited edition yarns and combed tops :-) We offer them to you on this place, because they are definitely a surprise, one of a kind limited edition woolen fibers, be our guest!

Spindle - the most basic tool for spinning. From prehistoric times to the present day, it has been used to transform loose combed fibers into yarn. Today, the spindle is an ideal way to try out spinning with minimal investment, or to train your skills until you get to a spinning wheel. Even on the spindle, it is possible to do almost all the tasks necessary to get the yarn you have in mind and which you can use for your projects. The spindle is made by hand , in the workshop of our master carpenter, from pine wood and birch plywood. It is simple but well-balanced, firm and stable, dimensioned to serve well both beginners and professionals.

Combing a fleece on wool combs is a way to a smooth combed top for spinning or other craft. If you want to process sheep's wool by hand , you have to sort, wash and comb or card the fibers to be able to spin the yarn. Wool combs are an ideal tool for fibre preparation, especially for longer stapled wool (approx. from 7 cm upwards). The combs are able to clean the wool perfectly from vegetable matter and arrange the fibers smooth and parallel. The kit contains: • a pair of combs with two rows of firm teeth • holder with a wooden pin that holds a static comb • two clamps to attach the comb holder to a table. Our combs are custom made by hand , by our own court master carpenter, so please count on a delivery date of about 1 month. We are working on optimising our production :-)
